It would benefit you to separate your accounts as business/personal for the reasons that you are questioning. Keeping your accounts separate would also enable you to make deposits of checks that are written out to your business name, as well as write checks for business purposes out of this specific account in order to better your records. If you have any further questions, feel free to give me a call or stop by my office in our Stewart Drive branch.

I own a small business, but I don't have payroll needs (sole proprietorship) or major overhead costs. So is it still a good idea for me to have a business checking account that is separate from my personal checking, to keep track of expenses and income for tax purposes?

Makes good sense -- thanks, Chuck. Bronco offers business checking, right? How else can a small business like mine benefit from Bronco business services?
